Grab a snack under the sprawling shady park nearby, it’s just perfect for beach picnics. Closer to the apartments, the Broadwater inlet is perfect for fishing, kayaking or stand up paddle boarding.

Southport is also a great food destination. Along the marina is a superb selection of cafes and Asian eateries and they’re all reasonably priced with yummy food. The smart casual set will enjoy a table at the Southport Yacht Club. The food is great and the ambience nautical, with outstanding ocean views.
